Founder’s note.

It all started when I couldn’t pay ₹99 for a simple paneer roll.

A weak data connection shouldn’t stand between you and lunch. I built Flowpay to make everyday payments possible without getting back online.

A few
answers.

Does Flowpay make the payments?

Your bank handles the transfer. Flowpay helps you start it through *99# or UPI 123PAY. You authorise the payment in your bank’s prompts. Flowpay never holds your money.

You record the outcome in Flowpay. Check your bank or the recipient to confirm the transfer.

Does it work without a signal?

A cellular signal is required. Mobile data and Wi-Fi can be off, but your phone still needs to reach the network through USSD or a call.

Will it work on my network?

Scan and pay uses *99#, which Jio does not support. Contact payments use UPI 123PAY, including on Jio. Availability depends on your bank, SIM and network.

What do I need to get started?

An Android phone running Android 10 or later, a UPI-enabled bank account, and the Indian SIM registered with that account.

How do I install Flowpay?

Tap View APK to open the GitHub release page, then download Flowpay-1.0.0.apk from Assets on your Android phone. Open the file and follow Android’s installation steps. Then choose your bank and registered SIM during setup. You approve permissions when a feature needs them.

Is Flowpay safe?

Flowpay uses NPCI’s existing *99# and UPI 123PAY services. It doesn’t use Android Accessibility, and it never sees or stores your UPI PIN.

Phone, camera, contacts and display-over-other-apps access support specific features. Review permissions, and check the recipient and amount before authorising a payment.
